Course Description

Introduction to pharmacology principles and safe medication administration for nurses. This course covers drug classifications, pharmacokinetics (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion), pharmacodynamics, and drugs affecting the autonomic nervous system, cardiovascular system, and pain management. Emphasis on safe administration, patient education, and nursing implications.
